Meryl Chan is a visual storyteller and designer from Manila, Philippines, with a BFA in 2D Animation from the School of Visual Arts. She draws inspiration from the people and environments of both the Philippines and New York, creating immersive worlds through animation, motion design, and branding.

​

Her work has been showcased in New York, awarded at international film festivals, and recognized by organizations such as Women in Animation and ASIFA. She has also been featured in publications including PhilStar and the School of Visual Arts’, which highlighted her thesis film Dive and Trek and her commitment to environmental storytelling.

​

When she’s not creating, she’s probably enjoying a matcha  (matcha zine.)
